GRATITUDE

I've been moved to the depths of my heart by thankfulness, as I'm sure you have. Perhaps it is an impact on your life that inspires you to hold gratitude for its very existence. I get that. I really do. The practice now is to see gratitude as an act of mindfulness. If mindfulness is putting our energy and awareness 100% into the exact moment we are in, then could we blend the two worlds? Being fully presently grateful for every moment we experience. From the ordinary, elation, and everything in between. What if we do have all we need in each moment and each breath? May you be open to seeing it.

There's this beautiful quote from Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh that goes like this, "Moment of gratitude, moment of enlightenment". What I love about this is that “regular folks" like you and me can achieve enlightenment or awakening in ordinary moments, like gathering at the dinner table. You hold the seeds.

May we all awaken.

May we all be healthy.

May we all be free
