RELEASE

Intention: I allow balance in my mind and body. I can let be and let go.

At the heart of meditation practices is the invitation to let go. It might start with releasing the tension between your eyebrows or unclenching the jaw. Soon your breath is fuller, freeing your body from anxiety and stress. The mind begins to release the thoughts that press against it the most. As you notice, observe, and witness a subtle shift occurs—a release of being those very thoughts. You watch the nature of those thoughts as they shift and morph before you. Reminding you that everything is in constant flow, continuous change, and our role is to release the habit of clinging to any of them. To set yourself free. To know your own (inner) freedom is to love deeper and live fuller. This week’s practice is to let go. Whatever you are holding on to, the invitation is to;

CALM-POINT 10-MINUTE MEDITATION ON MINDFULNESS OF BODY SENSATION.

This week's meditation practice is a Buddhist meditation practice called Mindfulness of Body Sensations. I like to approach this practice as training in equanimity. We begin to notice the sensations of the body with non-judgment. We are training to observe rather than attach your theories to every sensation or thought you have, offering a gentler process to let go. Easy does it, begin again, and keep going.
(Question is an excerpt from the Book: Spark Change—108 Provocative Questions for Spiritual Evolution, Jennie Lee)

Question of the week: “How can I make friends with uncertainty?”

Sometimes just knowing that there is the option to befriend uncertainty is enough. :) What do you think? Share below.
